Description of Issue

I have a client who brought his Roon Nucleus in to us for repair. It seems to not be showing up on the network at all as well as not recognizing external flash drives with music on them. I have tried several reboots and changing the ip of our network to see it but nothing so far. Anyone else have this issue?

Can you connect a HDMI monitor or TV to the Nucleus to see what messages are displayed when the unit is powered on?.

After plugging a monitor into it with mouse and keyboard I have zero control. Mouse wont move. Keyboard does nothing. I was seeing that nucleus owners are having the m2 drive fail. Is this a hardware issue with the drives Roon put in them?

Did any messages appear on the display at all? It does sound like a problem with the m.2 ssd.

Only thing displayed is the Roon logo and one box at the top right for Setup and one for Bootlist. Nothing can be clicked as the mouse has no control.

Yep after leaving it on that page for a bit its now saying “Reboot and select proper Boot device or Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key” Seems we need to RMA this unit if its still under warranty.

Ok, sounds like the m.2 drive may have failed. Have to wait for @support to respond for sure.

Hey @Alexander_Spak,

Ben with the support team here, I wanted to check in on this thread to see if you had been in touch with our dealer support at all?

If not, please let me know the current status of the Nucleus and we can get an RMA started immediately. :+1:
