Describe the issue

Roon Nucleus Rev B won't connect, even though power indicator lights up and Ethernet connection light blinks. Computer (MacPro), iPhone, and iPad all show that they cannot locate Nucleus.
Troubleshot with different Ethernet cable and a different power supply, but no effect. Problem began when Nucleus intermittently turned off and on (power light off and on), needing power disconnection and restart. Disconnection has now stopped occurring, power and Ethernet always on, but Roon remotes always say they cannot locate the server. System: Ethernet (functioning correctly to other connections) to Roon Nucleus Rev B to Chord Electronics MScaler/TT2 headphone system (all functioning together previously for at least a year). Controls/Roon Remotes installed on MacPro, iPhone 12, and iPad (both OS 17.6.1).

Describe your network setup

Comcast's current router – works for other devices. Ethernet CAT7 cable to Nucleus Rev B

Two things to try:

  • can you connect to the Web Administration Interface of the Nucleus? If so, please post a screenshot of it.
  • If you can’t connect to it, can you attach a monitor or a TV to one of the HDMI connectors of the Nucleus and post a photo of any messages that are displayed on the screen?

Hey @Kirk_Thompson,

@Geoff_Coupe is correct in the proper next steps! Let us know if you can access the webUI, and if not, share a screenshot of what you see when plugging in the Nucleus in to a monitor via HDMI (while still connected to power and your router).

We’ll be on standby for your results :+1:

My problem is the same as yours. The power light flashes for 65 seconds and then restarts.
