Describe the issue

since I changed my network from a regulars Xfinity combination modem/router/wifi accesspoint setup to a Ubiquity Unifi network utilizing my own Unifi cable modem and UDMSE router I have not been able to have my roon nucleus server show up on my network. I have various VLANs and have tried to connect to the server when my computer (Macbook pro) acting as a remote is connected to the same VLAN as the Roon Nucleus (hardwired using ethernet cable). Please help me solve this issue so I can get back to listening to my music. Please have a technician call me is possible so we can trouble this issues together more efficiently. Thanks

Describe your network setup

I have a Ubiquity Unifi network. I can discuss the details with the techician when they call

You should try connecting an HDMI monitor or TV to the Nucleus to see what messages are displayed when booting up.

Roon support will use this topic to communication with you when they get to this point in the queue. Don’t expect to have a phone conversation with them.

Your Network setup/details will need to be provided here.

Hello @4zeval ,

Welcome to the forum! As @Mike_LC we do not offer phone support, but we would be more than happy to assist you here on the forum.

I am looking over your account but I do not see any active Roon Server or remotes tied to it. Typically when we see this kind of view, there is some kind of firewall blocking Roon from operating properly.

Please note that for Roon to operate properly, all devices must be on the same subnet as well, not just the same VLAN. Checking the HDMI output of the Nucleus is a good test, if you can share a screenshot of what you see there, it could help us untangle where the issue lies. Let us know!
