Describe the issue

Running Roon Nucleus + 10.0.0.154. 8 TB internal storage. Xfinity router. NAD M33 endpoint. Roon connecting wireless to this. Roon on my iPad and iPhone for control Did Roon update last night. Everything perfectly fine before. When updated initially said 0 music artists albums (have thousands of all). Turned Nuc+ on off twice. Once it showed Nucleus core. Tried to connect and nothing. Now just spinning Roon logo. Update seems to be a misnomer here. Any ideas?

Hey @Mark_Sienko,

Thanks for taking the time to write in and share your report, and welcome to the community!

Based on your initial description, we were able to review your Nucleus diagnostic report and saw traces of database corruption, likely related to what was your most up-to-date database.

Do you have a recent backup available that you may be able to restore from?

Thanks. My bad I haven’t done a backup but as long as I can get the Roon running and playing my stored music I’m ok I think. Do I just do reset the database? Or what? Or reinstall operating system?

BTW on system status page I tried restarting the labs software and server software and got a screen with red rectangle that said”Failed to load device state (status :0) Please refresh”. Does that indicate the problem is what you said?

I am embarrassed to say I could never figure out the backup procedure exactly.

Mark

Restored database and problem resolved.
Thanks for your help.
