Roon Nucleus - which one should I buy?

Frustrated with computers (thank you Michael F and Robert for helping me with this) I learned about the Roon Nucleus and trying to decide whether to buy the 1459 model or the more expensive model.

I am a newbie to Roon and use only streaming (no other equipment) and my tendency is to buy the basic model.

Any advice?

I have the basic Roon Nucleus with 3000 linked albums from Tidal and Qobuz and no local albums. It works perfectly for 3+ years, except I did have to replace the M.2 once. By the way, the Nucleus IS a computer as is anything else that can work as a Roon core device.

He’s probably less frustrated by computers as such but by general-purpose operating systems and their complexity :wink:

And that’s fine. The Nucleus hides its “being a computer” as much as is possible.
