Roon on iPhone playing through earpiece

Description Of Issue

Since hopping up last week to Roon v.1.7, when using phone itself as endpoint, music is played over earpiece, not speaker (i.e. volume level resembles that of a telephone call without speakerphone enabled).

I just tried on my end and I’m hearing music being played from the speaker, but I don’t have your specific iPhone model. I have a few suggestions:

  1. It looks like your iOS version is out of date, is the behavior the same on the latest iOS build?

  2. Is there any change in behavior if you delete the Roon app from your iPhone and reinstall? You can delete by press and holding the app icon in the main iPhone screen and clicking on X.

Phone hadn’t pushed iOS update, but when retrieved manually, it did the trick. Thanks -
