· Roon on QNAP unexpectedly broke completely and I can't access my music anymore. I'm trying to follow the latest instructions to set up a Docker version and it's not going well. I'm quite disappointed.

· QNAP NAS connected over an ethernet switch and Google WiFi

After a couple hours of experimenting with different configurations, I think I have it working again now. I needed to ignore some of the instructions about leaving default folders as-is and instead change them to match the names of folders on the QNAP — but not the Roon folder, since that needed to live in the new Container directory. All in all, extremely confusing!

Ultimately this also required restoring the Roon Server from a backup and re-authenticating it as a new server. In the process it seems to have invalidated all of my Roon ARC downloads, so I get to redownload about 50 GB of music to my phone now. This has not been fun.

Hey @Alan_Joyce,

I’m glad to hear you’ve been able to get things back up and running. Sorry to hear you had to re-download local files via Arc when connecting to your new server instance, this is a known gap in the product that our team is aware of and have a ticket in for.

Happy listening! :musical_notes::drum:
