Roon on Synology not updating with added content

I’ve just moved from running Roon on Mac to running Roon on Synology DS725+

Environment:
Synology DS 725+ (DSM 7.3-81180)
Roon Server v2.55 (build 1559)

Problem:
New content isn’t added to Roon when copied/uploaded to the watched file system. Content is only added when I do a ‘Force Rescan’.

Everything else works fine; playback, Tidal, radio, etc.

I’ve checked and rechecked permissions (share/folder/file). Everything is correct according to published docs (and given that force rescan works, I don’t think it’s a permissions issue.

Any troubleshooting or hints/tips appreciated!
