Roon will add only a few of my Qobuz playlists. I have tried everything without results.
Describe your network setup
I use a Bluesound Node through wifi directed by my Macbook Air. I am able to listen to all of my favorited playlists on my Node, but only a few through Roon.
First, navigate to Settings → Services within Roon and open the Qobuz dialog window. Try forcing a sync by clicking “Sync Library Now.”
Second, make sure that RoonServer is excepted in any third-party firewalls you have.
Please share the name of a playlist that is failing to sync. The technical support team will activate logging from your RoonServer instance to see if we can pinpoint a particular sync failure event.
Keep in mind that two-way sync with streaming services via API can take up to 24 hours,.
Our diagnostic servers indicate you might be hosting RoonServer on a laptop. Keep in mind that RoonServer can’t access the internet when this machine is hibernated or closed, since that will restrict the network interface. Since RoonServer depends on network access for streaming service sync, this might be causing your database to miss certain sync events that take place at a regular interval.
To test this vulnerability, try keeping RoonServer open overnight - with the laptop awake, open, and automatic hibernation suspended in power settings. Also try hardwiring this laptop via ethernet to a router to remove WiFi interference as a variable.
Thanks for your response. I tried the “Sync Library Now” function several times. Nothing happened. I disconnected my firewall so it can’t be blocking Roon. The name of a playlist that won’t sync is “REM.” Another one is “New Radicals.” I have left my Mac Airbook open and awake for hours with hibernation suspended and no synching occurred. I plugged the laptop directly into the router, but nothing changed. I will give it a few days, but nothing is helping so far. Please advise if you have any other ideas in the meantime, thanks.
