I set up my system 2 days ago and I’m doing some tests now.
The Roon is seeing all abilities (ie native DSD) of the X16 so that’s great from the start.
It plays the MQA at highest tier I throw at it and also I tested DSD up to 256. The X16 and Roon is reporting that it plays successfully at that rates. I need to source DSD512 and some HD PCM files to do some more tests.
So it is all good so far.

I can confirm that DSD512 works just fine…as long as your Core and endpoint can keep up. I had to disable volume leveling for my 7th gen Intel i5 to keep up. My RPi4 endpoint had no issues.
