Description of Issue

Roon is not starting at all. It just hangs there, with the logo animated.
It’s not intermittent.
It’s been like it a few days.
I just downloaded latest Roon (1.8) and it’s the same.

Hello @anon67892514,

I am so sorry to hear about the issue you’ve ran into! It is definitely not what we were hoping for and please, accept my deepest apology for the delay in getting back to you

I was wondering, are you still experiencing the same issue? If so, could you please:

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Restart/Reinstall the Roon App to generate a new Roon folder
  • (Optional) Restore Roon from a backup at least a week before this issue started

Thanks in advance

Thank you that seems to have unblocked everything
It’ll take a time to find all the files, but it all looks good now
Thanks
Paul
