How is that device connected?
(USB, HDMI, optical, coaxial, analog, AirPlay, Chromecast, etc.)
Which audio formats does the device support?
(PCM only, DSD, maximum sample rate / bit depth, etc.)
What does the Signal Path show in Roon during playback?
(A screenshot would be very helpful.)
Is this a new issue, or has Roon never played correctly to this device?
Does the same device play audio correctly outside of Roon?
(For example, via another app or input.)
Once we have this information, we can determine whether this is related to format support, DSP settings, or the connection method.
