Describe the issue

I am having trouble sometimes playing music. Roon will skip over multiple files, unable to play any of the album. It stops with the error message "Too many errors. Stopping Playback".

I am unable to identify the issue. Roon runs in a docker image on Unraid. None of my other application or Docker images are giving issues. I've also inspected the logs in Docker. There is nothing that gives any hints to the issue. I am not able to find any logs to help me debug the issue.

Describe your network setup

PFSense router running on embedded Intel linux PC. Gigabit ethernet between all devices. WIFI Ubiquiti Unifi Pro Wifi6 APs. Internet 200mbps Fiber.

Hey @fun.idea7454,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report and welcome to the community!

I, unfortunately, have to share a bit of bad news here - we’re not able to provide official support in this setup. That said, we do have a dedicated area of community over in the Tinkering category where other Roon users with similar setups may be able to provide additional thoughts.

If you’d be willing to move your Roon setup into a support configuration, we’d be happy to help troubleshoot!

Let us know your thoughts :+1:

Hi Benjamin,

I understand you can’t support every configuration. Are you able to at least help me getting the error logs to so I can debug the issue? I am not inclined to buy a complete new NAS or computer without knowing what the issue is.

How does one get logging enabled so I can troubleshoot the error?
