It is not the index that loads slowly. Also the sound quality seems all right. But the music plays sloooowly.

Can you confirm that the devices in your setup meet Roon’s minimum requirements? Do you mean that the playback is dropping in and out, or that the pitch of the music has been slowed down like playing a record at the wrong speed?

It is the record playing at the wrong speed. Only my switch can not be verified. But memory and cpu from core, bridge and server seem good.

Verified over and over again the specs and installation.
But my music keeps on playing to slowly. No glitches or hickups but to slow.

Playing over Raspberry Pi 3 and Roon bridge is slow
Playing over LAptop USB is working fine. Good speed!
The Roon bridge has been downloaded from Roon side.

What kind of networking do you have between your Raspberry Pi 3 and your Roon Core? You should try and reduce the complexity of the network in-between them if you can. See if the behavior happens with Raspberry Pi 3 plugged via ethernet direct to same router as Roon Core.

Networking is the same. Tried switching rj45 cables. Problem stays at the raspberry site. Wouldn’t a network problem cause glitches and hickups. The quality seems all right. It is really to sloooooow.

Problem solved. Re-build the network. Removed router and wifi access point.
