Roon Playlists location in Mac OS or easy way to import playlists from previous Roon installs

Mac OS 11.0.1

Hey guys. I performed a clean install of Mac OS 11.0.1 (Big Sur) and naturally my Playlists do not exist as everything was installed from scratch.

It would be nice if I could just go to the backup I made before I wiped my drive and drag and drop (copy) my old Playlists to the new install of OS 11.

Is there a file I can copy? If so, what is it called and where can I find it. One file per playlist would be fine. In fact, one .xml file for each playlist in //Users/~/Library/Roon/Playlists/ would be a great idea.

But I suspect it’s not that simple. :slight_smile:

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty much everything is held in the Roon database.

Do you have a Roon Database backup? If so you should restore that via the Roon application.
