I’m really struggling here and pulling my hair out I’ve spent a lot of hours on this and I just wanted to know if anyone has same configuration as me in the UK I’m specifically after a way round crowbars not throwing out the logging connection when I use a VPN with a bypasser
Current at the moment I have Virgin media as my main Wi-Fi laying connection and I use surfshark VPN. So within surfshark you can either bypass apps or include apps and at the moment I’m using the bypasser include feature and just using a torrent engine for personal use which is connected to the VPN, nothing else. The good news when the VPN is connected is that Roon itself works and the server talks to my Android device using the Roon Android app which I use to play and control the music with the Roon Server but at the same time when I try to use the Quobuz library it’s simply disconnects and will not allow me to log in saying network error ?
I’m not an IT professional but I suspect something to do with the DNS which I’ve also looked at Roon articles and I’ve changed the DNS on the Ethernet lan cable to Google 8.8.8.8 etc and makes no difference
However, when running the surfshark on the android phone connected the a UK VPN the quobuz application works fine and plays native on my phone.
I just want to know has anyone managed in the UK to get this to work… I’d be grateful for some assistance. Thanks
