Roon Radio "Exclude My Library"

Roon Radio has a nice feature that limits it to Library only. Trouble is I’m finding that nearly all the radio hits are coming from my library (and listen stuff I’ve listened to recently). I’d really like to discover new music via Roon Radio.

I suspect that software-wise it is probably much more difficult but the exact opposite switch, Roon Radio Exclude Music From My Library would be very interesting to try.

I think someone has previously mentioned a slider controlling percentage of hits from within the Library which might be even better.

Roon Radio is a bit of a meh feature for me, since it tends to be repetitive and picking fairly familiar tracks.

As a work-around have you tried temporarily tried disabling local storage? What happens?

An interesting thought Tony! I tend to listen to Roon Radio via ARC so hadn’t thought of that. I’ll try and remember to disable local storage next time I go out for a walk.

I would like to see that too. When forwarding because radio is playing from my library I would like to see the question “don’t like to hear this right now because it is already in my library.

I think this is a great suggestion. Roon radio is a fantastic music discovery tool and if you could exclude your library it would be even more so.

This has to be implemented. I want to hear the new stuff when playing radio or genres not my own (well known) songs.
Is there a workaround?
