Roon randomly crashing on Windows 11 due to Math.Sign [Addressed in build 911]

Yes I have had windows 11 since it was released and has been stable up until the latest update and now intermittently crashes when viewing lyrics and sometimes when clicking on an album. Also when adding an album to my playlist it adds extra random tracks from the album for some reason and then when I go into it sometimes clears and then Roon crashes.

Hi @Tim_Clegg ,

I’ve activated diagnostics for your Roon Core, can you please use the app for at least a few minutes and let me know here once you’ve done so? I will check the diagnostics report for any crashes after, thanks!

Hi @noris ,

I’ve just loaded up Roon Core now and it’ll be on for most of the day playing radio on the B&W Wedge as well as music via bluetooth to non-supported speakers.

@noris , Roon just randomly shut down again at 1552. Here is the log entry for that time:

Hi, just did it again at 1747. Let me know if you need more information.

Hi @Tim_Clegg ,

Thanks for pointing out those errors in the logs, I’ve merged your thread into this existing one, please see my post here:

Any status updates involving the ticket?

Same thing happens to me. Viewing lyrics seems to trigger it sometimes.

Original poster here,
Lately it seems to be crashing much less often than originally posted. Sometimes i can go an hour or two without crashing.
But i also have noticed it crashing often when viewing lyrics.

I’m in the process of building a new pc for Roon labs. Just bought everything to go with windows 11. This is a little weird, since the windows 11 it’s suppose to make new intel cpu run better. Hopefully it’s just a matter of adapting to new system. I read the windows 11 was optimized to take advantage of new intel cpu that had some major changes in format and the way the cores work in dual tasks tuning. Well I’ll keep an eye on the this one.

Just got another crash right as i removed about 15 songs from my queue at once.

Hi All,

We’ve made some improvements in build 911 with regard to this issue. Can you please update to build 911 and check to see if build 911 helped with the issue and let us know? Thanks!

I know it hasnt been long, but ive had 2 updates since my post, and ever since i havent had any more crashes. Will post again if that changes.
