Describe your network setup

Second request. not able to connect my two Roon ready devices -- Aurender n150/LTAaero dac and Mac mini m4 with latest os firmware on Mac mini and iMac 2019 with Roon server installed. *moderated* Raphael Gomez

For the life of me, I found local host on my system settings, I think, and saw roon clicked but not roon server. I clicked roon server and my two devices appear on roon and connect to the roon server. However, when I go back to privacy and security on system settings on my imac, I do not see roon server on local host or locations. Cannot figure out how I got to the setting for roon server to click on. Will likely have the same issue when apple updates the os software. If you have any suggestions where I should look to find room server on my apple os, much appreciate. Thanks. Raphael

Hey @Raphael_Gomez,

Thanks for writing in!

Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

I’d set up a direct hardwire connection from your devices to your Roon Server as well as to your router while we continue to troubleshoot.

Thank you! :+1:
