· I am still on the third day of trial period. I recently acquired a WiiM ultra and just on the fourth day of Tidal trial. First two days I have the problem of playing some files probably they have higher bit rate/oversampling freq beyond limits of my WiiM streamer. And on the third day Roon refused to play the entire song in any album from Roon itself and Tidal too. What is the underlying cause? And how can I make my WiiM ultra play the music files above its DAC limitations. Thanks.

· I live in Bangkok I connect my Windows PC to home network through WiFi the same WiFi as WiiM and use my iPhone as remote control. The connections are always stable.
What you’re describing sounds like playback is failing at the device or output stage, rather than a problem with TIDAL or Roon itself. The most useful next step is to look at the Signal Path for one of the affected tracks, because it will show us whether Roon is trying to apply DSP, convert formats, or hand off audio in a way the WiiM Ultra does not like.
Before we go further, could you let us know:
What does the Signal Path show when playback fails?
Is the WiiM Ultra connected by Ethernet or WiFi, and is it used as a Roon Ready endpoint or through another input?
Do all tracks fail now, or only certain albums and sample rates?
If you can share a screenshot of the Signal Path for a track that will not play, we can narrow this down from there.
