Roon Remote connectivity issue and crashes on MacOS Tahoe (ref#CJAQN5)

Hi

I had a very similar but not identical problem.

Roon client not connecting to server - MacOs Tahoe Version 26.0 Beta (25A5338b)

This is apparently a known issue in macOs to which there is no solution other than zapping a couple of protected plist files, which I am not inclined to do. On the other hand, after completely removing and re-installing Roon, everything is working fine, so there is no need to do that.

I deleted Roon from my mac using AppCleaner and then reinstalled it. That solved the problem for me.

Both the remote/server connectivity issue and the Roon GUI crash with MacOS Tahoe are now separately ticketed by our development team. We’ll comment here as soon as we have a fix prepared for release or any workarounds to share. Thank you again.

Downgraded (!) to Sequoia and everything (Roon, network speed etc) is working as expected again.
Not touching Tahoe with a barge pole as long as possible.
