Roon Remote crashes on iPad when connecting to Mac Mini (ref#N9EBEP)

Describe the issue

When I click on roon remote on my ipad it begins to open, then in about 2 seconds it stops and reverts to the home screen. Roon server is on a Mac mini.

End point is an ultrarendu linked by cat6 to router

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report! Sorry to hear about your crashing issue.

Before anything else, can you please update your Mac running Roon Server to the latest roon build, and let me know if you run into the same issue? You should be able to update to 1525.

It looks like the version of Roon on your Mac (also running Roon Server) is also a bit out of date - let me know if updating helps you across the board!

Benjamin, The update seems to have corrected the issue. It wasn’t simple, I was having problems using the “about” function to update: it would always wind up with an error message about a corrupted file. And automatic updates never works. Now the server is good. Thanks , George
