Description of Issue

When I run my PC as Roon Server only and my Handy as Roon Remote I cannot access the DSP-settings in detail - only the two switches on the left are usable (Headroom management + upsampling) but not in detail. It is only usable in default.

There is no way to access the detailed DSP-settings, I tried everything. That’s bad, because the sound impression when listening to bit-perfect using the described setup is already very good but I would like to use detailed upsampling options to make it perfect!
Could this be a problem with the Oxygene frontend of my smartphone?
Kind regards

Hi @Jens_Schmidt-Wilke and welcome to the forum.

From another Roon user:
You need a remote with a bigger screen (tablet or PC) to access those settings. Phone displays are to small to fit detailed settings screens in a comfortable way, so they got intentionally disabled/replaced by what you see.

If you use a PC or larger tablet to first set up the DSP you can assign presets which you can then switch on or off with a phone.

Thanks both of you, I already tried this:
made a setting called “upsampling” in the normal Roon Windows version but when I tried to activate that setting it is simply not there on the Remote software!
I cannot find a special Roon Remote for Windows PC, so how could I access the exact settings of that zone on the smartphone from a Windows PC? - Roon Bridge doesn’t do it either…

Try and force close the app on your phone, then restart it and check if it’s there now.

You must install the regular Roon program and then just use it as a remote, connecting to the Roon core.

Sorry, didn’t work either

Thank you, that did it! I was able to access the settings of Roon Server from the main Roon program!
Thanks everybody!
