Description of Issue

I cannot get anything to find the Roon core – I have an iMac Pro running Roon Remote and fastened via Ethernet to the QNAP, an iPad, an iPhone… all hang up at

“Looking for Roon Core”.

I am able to show that my QNAP server is connect to my iMac Pro (can look at files and such), but it is as if Roon is no longer on the QNAP. When I go to list of apps on the QNAP and click Roon Server, I get

“Not Found - The Requested URL Is Not Found On This Server.”

Hi John, could it be that the Roon server is indeed trashed on the QNAP? or might it be the alias that is corrupted and not pointing to the right ‘Place’?

Hey @John_Ackenhusen,

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your Roon Core on NAS. In looking at your system details, you’re using a machine that doesn’t meet our Minimum System Requirements. With 150,000 + tracks in your library, it’s safe to say you’ve far surpassed what a Celeron processer is capable of dealing with. Your best bet is to transfer your Core to a more suited platform for managing your Roon Core.
