Description of Issue

On my Android phone: When I try to play an album, Roon cycles through all of the tracks quickly. No music is played. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. The problem persists. Also, I have the same problem on my android tablet.

Do you have any other control devices like iOS or a windows pc and if so does Roon play correctly using them?

Are you streaming or playing local files?

Restart the core.

Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum and I’m feeling sorry for you it’s because you’re in trouble!

You are trying to stream to quoted zone and not the remote’s output?
If so, what you see has nothing to do with the remote, it’s about the connection from your core to said zone’s endpoint - and that mostly amounts to networking deficiencies.

To better understand the circumstances, please give us a complete rundown of all components, including connection type, from your service provider’s modem to DAC.
Please also clarify if it occurs with local files and/or streaming content - and what happens if you stream live radio?
