Roon Remote Not Running On Mac M1 Mini

Roon Core - Innuos Zenith MK3 Core V1.8 (build 918)

Network ASUS RT-AX88U Wired to MAC M1 (Wireless to other remotes)

Connected Devices. USB

Library Size = 11730 tracks

Roon remote on Mac M1 Mini suddenly won’t load. The start up screen appears but it doesn’t get as far as loading the the central portion of the display before the Apple wheel appears. The Force Quit window has the Roon app as not responding

Roon remotes on IOS, Android and Windows are all working fine

Any ideas before I go to the uninstall/reinstall step. Have sent force quit logs off. Any use to you?

Have you tried rebooting the Mini? It might also be worth trying a reboot of your core and networking gear too.

Hi Dave. Done the first two Was holding off a core reboot as all other remote devices are working ok

I’d try rebooting the core too. Also, did you upgrade your Mini to 12.3 yesterday? If so, I’ve had Roon client crash a couple of times since then, and just after I upgraded it refused to load and needed force quitting. I haven’t reported it, as it seems ok now, but there may be some sort of issue with 12.3.

OK, so try the core reboot. If that doesn’t help, download a fresh copy of Roon and replace your current version. If that also fails, you could try a full reinstall or wait for support to get back to you.
