I am stuck with this, after I login to my Roon account on my laptop, I am asked to deactivate the license on my iMac (core), as if i wanted to switch cores. All I want is to use my laptop as a remote, an since there is no dedicated Windows remote, I do not know how to go about this.
Did you tell the windows install.to use the other core

Thx nuwriy. This is the setup step I was looking for on my Windows 10 laptop, it was not proposed to me (I previously installed the full Core version of Roon on this laptop, I desinstalled it and tried to install the remote only version). Will take a look at the artice.
