Hi, I am having an issue updating the Roon Remote 2.0 software on a MacMini (2018) running the latest MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1. My current Roon Remote is version 2.0 (build 1211). When starting up the app, there’s a message that a new version is available. However, when clicking the install link, there’s an error message “error with the update request” (translated from German).
Any tip how to resolve this issue? Many thanks!
A pity that Roon support did not respond to my question…
I now have been able to download Roon Remote 2.0 (build 1483) afresh from Roon’s Webserver and install it on my MacMini (2018) running MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1. Hopefully this will not be necessary any time a new update becomes available.
Thanks for your patience while your case reached our queue! Do note that Roon support only operates Monday - Friday and it looks like you reached out to us over the weekend when we are not on rotation. In any case, glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by installing the latest Roon version on top, this is certainly a great troubleshooting step that can help. Do let us know if you have any other issues with updating should it occur again, but hopefully everything will work right moving forward. Thanks!
