· Roon Remote on MacBook Pro (Apple OS 26.2) won't update.
Roon Remote current version is 2.0 (1483).
My Roon Server running on a Mac mini M4 (Mac OS Sequoia) is up to date 2.57 (1598), but every time I acknowledge that Remote on the MacBook is not up to date and initiate the update process it seemingly executes and ends up prompting that it is needs updating. Music and Live Radio play ok.

This happens from time to time. Just re-download from the roonlabs website and replace the existing application.

Hello @Gerald_Granath,

Thanks for reaching out.

This behavior can occasionally occur on macOS. The recommended resolution is to reinstall Roon Remote manually, as suggested above.

Please download the latest Roon Remote installer from the Roon website, then replace the existing application on your MacBook Pro:

After reinstalling, the Remote should launch on the correct version and the update loop should be resolved.

Let us know if the issue persists after that.

Hi @Gerald_Granath,

Account diagnostics seem to indicate your remotes have now updated - we’re going to tentatively mark this thread Solved, but reach out if we can assist with anything else. Thank you!
