Description of Issue

Was using a Roon Nucleus as the Roon Core and everything worked.
Switched to a Bryston BDP-2 as the Endpoint. Everything works great on the Desktop but it will not connect on the other devices.

I use the iPad to run Roon almost exclusively, I need it to work.

Doug, can you please fill out the information in the form? There is not a lot of detail in your description with which to troubleshoot. As a first check, have you enabled Windows firewall exceptions for roon.exe and raatserver.exe on your W11 Core and is your W11 PC network setting set to Private? It needs to be Private and not Public.

This is the problem, I don’t even know where to go to find “firewall exceptions” and “private / Public”

Go to Windows->Settings and under Network you should see if you are using the Private or Public network setting.

This link below is a good summary of how to allow an application exception in Windows 11:

Switching to “Private” did the trick. Thank you so much Robert!
