Description of Issue

Hi,

Roon remote was not getting connection with Tidal, so in the end I restarted Roon Core, but after that, my Roon remotes didn’t start anymore. The keep searching for the Roon core (only the Roon symbol).

I then opened the Roon remote on my core PC also, which said it needed a update, but after that it doesn’t open too.

I then reïnstalled Roon Core - no effect.
I reïnstalled Roon Remotes - no effect.

Everything is down, but the remote is running on my Intel NUC.

It was weird to see that the updates for Roon remote were version 1.7 when installing, while the Roon Core is on version 1.8.

Hopefully this can be resolved soon :frowning:

Kind regards,

Pieter-Jan

Hi @Pieter-Jan_Vanmarcke

Can you try this?

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again

That did the trick  Many thanks!
