Describe the issue

My Roon remotes stopped connecting to my Roon Server (macOS X Sequoia) simultaneously. I have tried all the application and network suggestions but I cannot resolve the issue. Nothing has changed in terms of software or OS updates or network configuration that might have impacted Roon connectivity. Please advise.

Describe your network setup

Eero hardwired and WiFi network MacOS X Sequoia, Apple TV, and iPhone

When you say this, does it include resetting the local network permission on both the server and the remotes?

Yes, I have toggled Allow Roon and Roon Server on and off on both the server and client computers. (I will just mention again, that my iOS client also stopped connecting at the very same time.)

I realize that, but this would be expected IF macOS does not allow Roon Server to communicate on the local network. Though you tried this, so it might not be your problem.

Thank you, Suedkiez. While I’ve been a Roon user almost from launch, I’ve never had to seek help of navigate this forum. Any other suggestions?

I’ve been troubleshooting for about 6 hours now and getting nowhere. What’s perplexing is that there have been no recent changes to my setup in weeks and this happen overnight … Yesterday everything was running as per usual, and then this morning, could not connect to server.

Sorry, I wrote macOS X Sequoia earlier, but I meant Tahoe 26.4.1.

Tahoe vs Sequoia shouldn’t matter. Sorry, I have no idea. Let’s see what support finds out, or perhaps another user has a better idea than I.

Resolved. Somehow, after a restart of the Mac with Roon server, the subnet mask setting on Mac was incorrect. Re-entering the correct subnet mask resolved the issue.

Hello @maurizio
