Roon repeatedly fails to connect on iPad after reinstall (ref#AW4LEU)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Can’t reach my Server, remotes or ARC

Can’t connect to my Server, remotes or ARC

· Other ARC issues

Tell us what's going on

· Roon was not working, Reinstalled Roon. Has been on for two days now. On my ipad see Roon logo moving but hasnt yet connected. Have a lifetime subscription. Need it to work.

· Need roon to work. My router works fine with everything else

Our diagnostics suggest that your network is split across two subnets, one on a 192.168.4.XYZ range and one on a 192.168.5.ZYX range. For Roon to work properly, all Roon devices and controllers need to be on the same subnet.

Please let us know what your network setup looks like and we can proceed from there.

We have just released an update and can see that some of your devices are not updated.

Can you please make sure your RoonServer and Roon Remote on ipad have the same version ?

Note that build 1646 has still not made it into the App Store, it’s still on 1641 there

Edit:

The APK for Android from the Roon website is also still at 1641. It’s therefore unclear whether the remote apps are expected to have been updated and the release notes are inconsistent:
