Good morning , I wanted to give Roon another chance, after canceling my subscription out of desperation.Unfortunately I find myself in the same situation, if not worse. Roon Scanning libraries (Only Tidal because Roon can’t read external hard drive, while all other programs work fine) continuously until the songs are reset and “nothing to produce” is displayed We go from 3200 songs to 70 songs in 30 seconds, then back to zero Same thing happens with Tidal playlists. The system keeps scanning and makes the service unusable.I would like to point out that any other music software (latest Audirvana) works perfectly and also reads music from the hard disk that Roon considers empty. It’s embarrassing that no one can help me get a service I pay for.I use a Mac Mini and Bricasti Design M3 for streaming. The only thing I haven’t done yet is update the Mac Mini to the latest Sequoia.Don’t talk to me about various DNS settings because I don’t know anything about them and if everything works with other software I don’t see why I should change anything exclusively for Roon I kindly await an urgent solution as this is beyond belief.PS: I have restarted the Mac Mini several times with no results Thank you I’m in Italy
Hey @opoandrea,
Thanks for taking the time to write in!
We are seeing network related issues and a failure to connect with upstream services like Tidal. For now, let’s just focus on your external hard drive containing your local library.
If you sign out and disable Tidal, then head to Roon Settings>Storage. Can you share a screenshot of the folder paths you watched? What issue are you having with them specifically?
How is your drive attached to your Roon Server? Can you confirm the folder has proper share settings? Here’s more info that may help:
