Description of Issue

Had to do a RESTORE after some ROPIEEE hickup and noticed a restore from SSD backups was refused (“failure”) but worked from DROPBOX (but very slow)

Did you have a specific error message display when this happened? Are you still unable to successfully create a manual backup on your SSD?

Well, I just tried to restore for SSD and it failed then. The backups seem to be written, but I will not just “for fun” try and make a restore to see if that works :LOL:

Sorry for any confusion here - I was inquiring to see if you were still having issues with manual backups to your local storage.

Is the issue attempting to restore one of your saved backups from your local storage? Can you please provide more information on where you’re saving the local backups?

To confirm, are you keeping your backups in a separate folder from your local library?

Hi Ben, the backups are written to a seperate external 1TB SSD attached to my i3 NUC via an USB3 port to a ROON backup folder on that SSD.
