This is very old, it‘s from April 2024. Try going to the ROCK‘s web admin UI and click the Reinstall button, which will reinstall the OS and the Roon Server, thereby updating it to the latest version.

It will not reset your Roon database, so this is generally safe, but to cover all bases you should create a Roon database update in any case, if you have none

Hello @Rainer_Broennimann

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

The recommended and supported way forward here is to use the ROCK Web Administration interface and perform a Reinstall:

  1. From any browser on the same network, go to:
    http://192.168.0.115
  2. Open the ROCK Web UI
  3. Click Reinstall
  • This will reinstall the ROCK OS and update Roon Server to the latest version
  • Your Roon database will NOT be erased
  1. Once the reinstall completes, reboot the machine if prompted

Important

Before doing this, please make sure you have a current Roon backup (Settings → Backups), just as a precaution.

If the reinstall fails or the Web UI is not reachable, let us know exactly what you see on that page and we’ll take the next step from there.

Many thanks! It worked flawless.
I am really happy
