Description Of Issue

Roon runs extremely slow on the PC (nothing else does, including J River). Takes a very long time to load, and doesn’t get better after. The laptop does not experience the issue. Library of under 3000 albums.

Which model do you have?

I’m betting it’s the intel hd drivers issue… try the 32bit Roon install.

Not sure, just says IdeaCentre on the front. 64-bit processor.

Hi @anon3874595,

Since the laptop remote doesn’t exhibit this issue, it sounds like it’s a problem specifically with remote peformance and not Core performance. On Windows 10 you should be able to learn more about the CPU by clicking the Windows Key, typing System Information and selecting that option, and then looking under Processor.

As wizardofoz suggested, using the 32 bit version of Roon is definitely worth trying.
