Roon says my PC is offline when it isn't

Description of Issue

Since the last update, when I wake up in the morning, my Roon is unavailable. When I go to my PC, Roon says my PC is offline. A quick check with a browser reveals that my PC is not offline. When I “retry” in the Roon UI, Roon sometimes recognizes that I’m online. Other times I have to start and restart Roon for it to recognize that I’m in fact online.

This is a pain because I like to listen to tunes when I wake up. My PC is in the basement. So to reset Roon I’ve got to go down 3 floors. At that point, I’m up.

I would verify that you have the power settings to never go to sleep on that PC. And, that the ethernet device doesn’t have a power down option.

Agreed that makes the most sense.

It looks like in the last Microsoft update, device sleep got set to 1 hour. I changed to “never” and then waited a couple of nights. It looks good. No offline message from Roon.
