Describe the issue

Roon Search preview doesn't like hyphenated names/titles, outputs incorrect error in response.

I'm on Roon desktop, 2.0 build 1459 earlyaccess, windows, 64-bit.

Whenever I open Roon's search box and type the name of a hyphenated album, e.g. "my anti-aircraft friend", instant search will apparently crash and I'm shown an error box saying "Can't connect to Roon Search". But if I simply type or just backspace to delete characters up to the hyphen "my anti-" Roon Search does in fact connect and shows the album as a 1st result.

Same applies when searching for the track "Anti-Hero", or the artist "Jay-Z", they'll all result in the same error message, but typing "Anti-" or "Jay-" will show intended results below the search box.

Describe your network setup

I don't think my network setup is of any relevance for this, please let me know otherwise.

Yeah, also with other special characters. Reported here already and there is a ticket:

Hi @OllieGN,

Thanks, Daniel. I had no idea this was a known issue, but I’m glad it’s already being worked on.

Cheers,
Ollie.
