Roon Server and ReadyNAS 516

Anyone successful installing Roon Server on a ReadyNAS 516? Working on it for 2 days without success, below is the error I am receiving;

Do you want to install RoonServer on this machine? [Y/n] Y

Downloading RoonServer_linuxx64.tar.bz2 to /tmp/tmp.7pRleDrd2O/RoonServer_linuxx64.tar.bz2

The RoonServer installer did not complete successfully.

If you are not sure how to proceed, please check out:

If anyone could provide any assistance I would be glad to compensate for your time.

Thanks

It looks like lbzip2 is missing. You need to add it and go from there.

Thanks for reply and working fine :wink: One more question what is the best way to update Roon on the NAS to the latest version/build? I am not that proficient with Linux, but I can get around somewhat…

Enabling service roonserver…
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/roonserver.service → /etc/systemd/system/roonserver.service.
Service Enabled

Starting service roonserver…
Service Started

All Done! RoonServer should be running on your machine now.

Hi, it should update automatically. When a new version becomes available it should do it, informing you via the remote.
