Roon Server Connection and Login Loop Issue after Reboot (ref#FY9VKN)

After shutting down and restarting the computer running Roon Server, I am unable to connect to it via any remote Roon App. Each time I open Roon on another computer, instead of connecting to the Roon Server as it usually does it seems to think I’m trying to connect to or install another server on that machine. It creates a login loop where:

  1. It shows the connect to server page and I can see the correct server (I click “Connect”)
  2. It prompts me to Log In or Sign up (I log in)
  3. It take me to my browser and asks me to choose my account (I click it)
  4. The browser asks to open Roon.app (I click “Open Roon.app”)
  5. I get a message saying, “Your subscription allows you to sign in to 1 Roon Server at a time, but it looks like you’ve already set up another Roon Server. To connect to the Roon Server you previously set up, just click go back above.” (I click the “Go back” button)
  6. It takes me instead to the Login page from step 2 (repeat ad infinitum).

Just hit unauthorize then it will allow you to log in successfully, don’t worry about any messages at this time.

Thanks. The only option is to unauthorize the Core Server, not the Mac I’m trying to open a remote copy of Roon on. That’s not what you mean, is it?

BTW, the same issue happens when opening Roon on my iPhone, also with the only option to unathorize the Core Server.

Yes that’s exactly what I meant.
Sometimes Roon gets " confused".
This resets it
Just click unauthorize, it will be ok.

Thanks. Solved (and very counterintuitive)!
