Roon Server Crashing - Sooloos.App.InitPing()

Windows Server 2019, 16GB RAM, Intel Core i5 Quad Core 3.2GHz

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Ethernet, connected directly to router supplied from ISP

Connected Audio Devices

A few devices running Roon

Number of Tracks in Library

7k or so.

Description of Issue

Roon server will run for a few seconds or so before it silently crashes. Looking at Windows event viewer I see the following:

Application: RoonServer.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.TypeLoadException
at Sooloos.App.InitPing()
at Sooloos.App.Init()
at Sooloos.App.Main(System.String[])

Please check if you have to reinstall the .NET Framework 3.5. See this other thread for more information:

After taking a look into your account, I also wanted to suggest giving your core and devices an update to ensure they’re on the latest Roon build (970) as this new build has helped other users with similar issues.

I have the same Roonserver.exe crash in the same function on my Windows 2019 Server.
Can you tell me if and how you were able to solve the problem ?

I was able to fix this by completely uninstalling Roon, and removing the files from AppData and program files and reinstalling.
