Roon Server Died-How To Move Database To A New Server

I have only been using Roon for about a week. I was using a PC for my server and an external SSD for music storage. My PC just died…may it rest in peace. I did not make a backup of my database before it died. Now I need to build a new database on another PC or go buy a Nucleas (which I was thinking about doing anyway). How do I transition my Roon license to another database device? I assume I will need to login to my Roon account from some other computer, deactivate the license that was created for the dead computer and then load Roon on a new server device and activate that device (new PC, Nucleas, etc.). Can anyone give me the steps involved? TIA.

Since you did not make a backup, you won’t be able to “move your database to a new server”, as your post title asks; you will be creating a new database from scratch.

Transferring the Roon licence is a simple process, see here:

Authorize your new Roon server. As part of that process, you will Unauthorize your old Roon server. That will be part of the install process for the new Roon server.
