The download for the Roon Server for Windows is no longer available for downloading. I am forced to Download the RoonInstaller64.exe, which is not the same animal, the download installs the application and the server. My application is on the IPad, my music is using the windows 11 to transmit to the DAC. This works but it is somewhat sloppy. Is this a mistake? ChatGpt is ‘lying’ about where this download is and send me in circles to the same download page. Has someone missed these links? There should be one for both Windows and Mac.
Correct, it was replaced with a combined Roon Server and Roon [GUI] application installer.
If you don’t wish to use the GUI application just don’t run it.
Similarly, should one only want the GUI, set the Server not to automatically startup.
Be careful where ChatGPT or any LLM, directs you; they can and do hallucinate, always best to verify.

Thanks Carl. I retired from software development a year ago and know how LLM can ‘lie’. All it needs to say is ‘I don’t know’ or something like that. It’s always so confident.
