Still having the same problem. I order a new SSD Western Digital 500 GB from a different manufacturer for the OS to sit on. I’ll put this in after it arrives on Thursday. I have a fairly large library (140k songs) so that might be pushing the 128gb Transcend drive? Or there could just be issues with drives from Transcend and Roon…

Even for a large Roon database, a 64GB SSD should be sufficient for the Roon database.
SSD can sometimes fail due to hardware issues, which is what I suspect happened here.
The 128GB is a bit overkill, but do let us know how it works out!

Not sure if this helps but I have recently been having trouble as well with PIA and Roon. I can get round it by either disconnecting the VPN entirely or changing its settings from using PIA DNS to normal DNS. Hope this might help
