· I have an issue: my Roon server no longer wants to start up.
It was having some weird issues for the past few days, just randomly stopping playback.
After restarting it was fine again.

But today, after restarting my server, it just doesn't work.
No matter what I try it just doesn't start.

It always goes back to "Can't find Roon Server".

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

I run my server on an Apple Macbook Pro (M1)
Connected in a LAN with my Dutch&Dutch 8C's.

I've been running the same setup for years now, without any problems.

Hi @Joachim_Brackx,

Thank you for your post. According to our diagnostic servers, your Roon Server instance is currently online, but the GUI hasn’t been seen since you posted here.

Do you have any third-party network security or VPNs on this machine?

Can you please verify whether you’re still experiencing this issue? Open Activity monitor and verify whether or not the GUI and server are running.

We’ll watch for your reply. Thank you!

Thanks @connor ,

I have no idea what happened, but this morning, my Roon server magically appeared again, and I was able to connect.

So right now, all is well.

(I don’t have any third party network security or VPNs, btw)

Thanks for checking and have a lovely day!
