Roon server fails to power up after multiple reboots and power cycles (ref#9SC33X)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

Describe the issue

Roon server was running fine. Then stopped playing. I have rebooted several times, also power cycled, and Roon will not power up. No sign of power. Tried various known good power sources.

Describe your network setup

Hard wired connection. Network is active.

Is the device the Nucleus sitting on, hot? You could Move the Nucleus, connect a keyboard and monitor and see what it displays (or not displays) on the monitor.

Please try to do what @Rugby advised: connect the Display and try to turn it on. Do you see anything on display ? If not please try to switch the power adaptor and try again. If it still does not show anything on the display and does not give any signs of life please create a new support ticket and select option “I have a problem with hardware”. This option will allow you to create a ticket to RMA team.

We’ll need to see one of the following to proceed with troubleshooting from here:

  1. A screenshot of the Nucleus Web Administration page showing the RoonServer and RoonOS status

or, if that’s not loading or otherwise not available:

  1. a picture of the outprint on a display when you connect the HDMI output of the Nucleus to any external monitor

The latter will include a diagnostic report indicating if there are any issues with the hardware components.
