Have you rebooted the Rock Server?
Possibly twice from something I read earlier.

yes multiple times, also Roon Server Software start button not working.
ROCK has been running 1yr without issues and many updates.
Is there a way to roll back to previous version, maybe somethings broken with this update.
I can see the data share but don’t know which folders are for what

No roll backs unfortunately and it’s something else going on as I updated my Rock this morning with no issues so not a completely broken update.
There does appear to be some Roon Cloud connection issues right now though.
Hopefully these will be resolved quickly.

You mean Roon Server Software “ restart” not start?
When I asked have you rebooted I mean a full power down not just software or from the web GUI?

yes, restarted multiple time with physical button as well as reboot button on web UI
It just keeps saying roon server software not running. When you press the start button you get this message.

That looks like something went wrong during the update.
If it was my machine I would be trying a operating system reinstall but that’s just me.
Not something I am advising you try.
I honestly have not seen that message before so hopefully Support will have some words of wisdom.
Edit…sorry to harp on but you have completely disconnected power , left for a few minutes and reconnected power. Not just using the power button.

I disconnected power and left it for 1 hour. Roon server software is still not starting.

Decided not to wait and press the Reinstall button and all’s good now.
I think I know why the update failed, so next time I’ll be prepared.

Good to hear and that the reinstall worked, I thought it should but you never know
