When using intel nuc as Roon Core, I often see articles that explain that “single-core performance is important” intel nuc.
So I have a question, but there are many types of benchmarks that measure the performance of single-core. I don’t know which benchmark value to refer to. If you check the https://www.cpu-monkey.com site, various benchmark values will appear.
The real-world performance of a CPU depends on many factors. Depending on the program code, things like cache size can make more or less of a difference. Every real-world program is different. The different benchmarks are just different synthetic versions that try to reflect the real-world performance accurately in a comparable way.
It doesn’t matter much which benchmark version you compare. Just pick one and compare its results between the different CPUs. If in doubt, compare more than one benchmark, but you will probably find that the ranking of CPUs is very similar regardless of which benchmark you compare.
