Roon Server intermittent connectivity issue after restart (ref#Y1LT47)

Please try to restart your network setup by unplugging, waiting 30 seconds and then replugging in your networking gear.

Have you checked your firewall settings to ensure that Roon is allowed through?

Sometimes the issues can be resolved with a reinstall of your Roon Remote app. Let's try to perform a reinstall and see if it helps.

Welcome to the Roon community! I’m sorry to hear your server is playing hide-and-seek with your remotes.

Based on our internal tools, I want to clarify a couple of things to help us get to the bottom of this:

  1. Hardware Check: You mentioned using a Nucleus, but our systems are currently identifying your server as a ZEN device. Could you confirm which hardware you are using as your Roon Server?
  2. Connection Method: In your report, you selected Ethernet, but your description says it is connected via WLAN (Wi-Fi). For a Roon Server, a stable Ethernet connection to your main router is highly recommended to prevent exactly the kind of intermittent “not reachable” issues you are experiencing.

We attempted to pull diagnostics from your server automatically, but because of the connection issues, nothing is reaching our side. We need you to send us your logs manually so we can see what happened during those 30 minutes before it stopped.
